A man from Waywayseecappo First Nation pled guilty to manslaughter on Wednesday after an incident that took place back in April.
On April 11th, police responded to a report of a shot fired inside a home on Waywayseecappo First Nation. A 15-year-old girl suffered a gunshot wound and succumbed to her injuries in hospital.
25-year-old Lawrence Shingoose has been sentenced to 4 years in prison.
