The Grandview Comets have been idle in the NCHL playoffs while they waited to see who they would play and it's the Swan Valley Axemen, and the series begins tonight on the road for the Comets.
The Comets easily dispatched of the Foxwarren Falcons in the first round, while Swan beat Moosomin in four games.
Grandview went 1-1 against Swan Valley this year with the win being in extra time.
In the other semifinal, Miniota-Elkhorn takes on Virden.
Game time between the Comets and Axemen is set tonight for 8:30 at the Minitonas Arena.
