There will be a family get-together at the Manitoba Winter Games, as Josh Thompson will be joining his brother, Ryder Thompson.

"It's definitely a great opportunity for me," said Josh Thompson. "There's going to be a lot of skilled players, and it will be cool to play with my brother."

In 30 games this year, Josh has 29 points with the Bantam Rangers, and he knows what he has to do to succeed at the games.

"I just need to play physical," said Thompson. "Then, when I get my chances, I have to capitalize."

Thompson will join Team West White, at the eight-team tournament.

"I'm looking forward to meeting new people," said Thompson. "And playing with new teammates that I haven't played with before."

The Manitoba Winter Games kick off on March 4, in Thompson.
