The Predators U15 girls volleyball season is well underway with the team being made up of players from across the Parkland region.

They've played two tournaments so far and will be in action again this weekend in Winnipeg.

"The girls are doing very well, especially with missing a year because of restrictions," said Dan Kozak, coach. "They play with a lot of energy, we have a great group that always works as hard as they can."

In their first tournament of the season, the team finished in second place. Then this past weekend, the club entered the winner's circle as they won a tournament at the DRCSS which was hosted by the Parkland Vipers.

Kozak says winning the tournament was a great feeling.

"The girls were jumping off the walls, they were so excited," said Kozak. "They know that if they work hard at practice, special things can happen when it comes down to playing games."

As noted above, the team will look to keep it going this weekend in Winnipeg.
