The Dauphin “Road Warrior” Kings are set to hit the road again.
The club will begin a five-game road trip this evening as they challenge the Neepawa Natives at the Yellowhead Centre.
After a mid-week loss last week, the Kings turned it on.
They scored a combined 12 goals in regulation en route to beating the Selkirk Steelers twice.
Tonight‘s meeting will be the first between the Natives and Kings.
For the most part, it’s been a tough season for Neepawa.
They lost 5-2 last night to Winnipeg which downed their record to 2-4-0-1.
Dauphin (5-3) meanwhile can jump up into a tie for first potentially with a win this evening.
There will be no broadcast tonight. We’re back on the airwaves on Friday evening from Selkirk.
Tonight’s puck drop is set for 7:30.
