The RM of Dauphin council is heading to Stoney Point today.

Reeve Dennis Forbes says they've been putting money aside in the budget to rebuild the campground out there, since flooding in 2011 and 2013.

"We want to go out there as a council and have a look at what we feel is the best route to take and measure out appropriate lot sizes. What people will see in the near future is pretty much a complete rebuild out there."

As a result of the 2011 flood, Forbes says people with permanent structures along the ridge of the beach were given five years to remove them. That time is up, and structures are to be removed by October 15th.
