The old slogan, Always Fresh, Always Tim Hortons, is ringing true for the Dauphin location - it's set to soon get a fresh look.
Greg Crisanti, Owner of the Dauphin Tim Hortons, said the renovations are set to start early next week. Though the renovations are expected to take 3 to 4 weeks, that doesn't mean major service disruptions.
"We'll begin closing early probably around 1:00 beginning on Monday, closing down all day Tuesday while we move into our mobile trailer, get all our equipment working and certified to be up and running in there, hopefully we're good to go Wednesday, Wednesday late morning, late afternoon, we'll be open," said Crisanti.
Aside from the updated storefront, Crisanti said there will be lots of other benefits to the renovation too.
"A lot of improvements, obviously the fresh new look, brighter lighting, we bring in 2 kiosks, so if you're used to ordering at a mobile kiosk unit we'll have 2 kiosks available, a new seating area, a lot more room for our staff and our customers," said Crisanti.
Crisanti said during the renovations, their temporary trailer will make use of the existing drive-thru lane, and will also have a walk-up window.
Dauphin and the community have been known to care about the Tim Hortons, as shown by the store being Canada's top smile cookie seller this year. The renovations help to ensure the Dauphin Tim Hortons continues being a bright spot.
