Wednesday morning, Dauphin RCMP observed a man wearing a mask and gloves while assisting paramedics at a medical call on 2nd Ave. Northeast.
A witness at the scene made officers aware of a knife and can of bear spray that the man had discarded. RCMP arrested the man, who provided them with a fake name.
After the arrest, officers determined the man was wanted in connection to an incident from September 11th, where he entered the home of someone he knew, and damaged items.
The man was charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and mischief under $5,000. He was remanded into custody.
