As we're in the full harvest swing, equipment breakdowns are something Parkland farmers might experience. It's a good idea to know who you can call if your equipment breaks down - like Triple C Mechancial, who specializes in on-field repairs.

Colin Cholka of Triple C Mechanical said in the two years his business has been running, they've expanded a lot, and are looking to find more ways to help out the Parkland.

"We started this business in 2024, we got started out with one truck and one guy, and now we've grown to having employees, we've got a shop and we've got a couple vehicles on the road, so, yeah we service a lot of our customers who are farmers and have farm equipment, and we repair that machinery when it breaks," said Cholka.

On-field repairs are a great choice if you can't move your equipment out of the field at all.  Cholka said they're able to work on broken equipment where it lies, and their process is always very straightforward with customers.

Looking ahead to next season, Triple C Mechanical offers pre-season inspections, also done in-field.

"What we do is we'll come out and we'll inspect your machine, and we'll make a list of repairs and go over it with you, advise on what needs to be done, then we can provide with a detailed estimate, and give you an idea of what it's gonna cost," said Cholka.

Triple C Mechanical is one of 730 CKDM's Harvest Helpers this season, giving the Parkland's farmers and ag producers an extra hand during the harvest season.
