It's book mania at the 8th Avenue Hall in Dauphin as the Rotary Club of Dauphin holds its annual spring book fair.
Next week, the Rotary Club will be back in action for its Spirits & Vines night at the Watson Art Centre. It goes from 7:00 to 9:30 next Friday.
Carolyn Coulson-Clark is a co-chair for the event.
"We're featuring over 60 samples of wines, beer, and even some liquers this year," said Coulson-Clark. "There are appetizers included in the ticket price. You can also enter to win some awesome prizes at our raffle table."
Tickets for the event are $45 and are on sale right now. You can get yours at the Dauphin Liquor Mart or by calling 572-1823.
The event gives MLCC a chance to showcase its products.
"Since it doesn't look like gardening and camping season yet, you may as well come out for a nice social evening," she added. "It's for anyone who enjoys trying new tastes in the world of wine, beer, and liquors."
It's the second fundraiser in two weeks for the Club, and Coulson-Clark says proceeds always stay in the community.
"It helps fund things like the recent donation to the indoor playground at DNRC," ended Coulson-Clark. "We also gave money to the Countryfest Community Cinema. All projects we have supported have been thanks to our multiple fundraisers throughout the year."
You must be 18 to attend.
