Eight members of Canada Russia '72 will visit Winnipeg September 6th.

Both the Parkland Rangers Bantam and Midget AAA teams will have their camps this weekend.

Parkland Bantam Rangers forward Mark Liwiski is in Everett, WA this week for his first WHL camp.

The Brandon Wheat Kings have hired a new General Manager.

The Club announced shortly after three o'clock Tuesday that Grant Armstrong will take over for owner Kelly McCrimmon.

Armstrong spent the last four years as an assistant GM and Director of Player Personnel with the Victoria Royals.

Mick McCrimmon will join Armstrong as Assistant GM.

A pre-season female hockey skills camp for Atom to Midget level will take place Saturdays and Sundays from September 10th to October 9th at Credit Union Place.

Registration fee is $100 for ten 75 minute on-ice sessions. To register visit the Parkland Rec Complex Reception Desk before September 6th, but act quickly as there are only 50 spots available.

Jesse Hockridge's first MS Hockey Tournament raised $2851.

The second round of the Tamarack golf tournament continues at the Clear Lake Golf Course today with a number of Parkland golfers in the running.

In Men's Flights Dale Murray of Gilbert Plains, and Dauphin's Scott McCallum and Regan Hedley, as well as Russell's Brad Clement and Curtis Nahirinak, all have chances to advance with wins today.

Dauphin's Myles Haverluck and Dean Cooley still have a shot at consolation glory in the Championship Men's division, as does Dauphin King Riese Gaber in the Junior Flight.
