You only have three more nights of sleep until the Dauphin Kings Alumni Game, and with that, we introduce another player that will take part, and that player is Ben Dixon.

Dixon played with the Kings from 2001-03.

"I'm really looking forward to just seeing the community," said Dixon. "I came off the farm in Alberta, so Dauphin was actually a pretty big town, and the biggest one I've lived in at that time. It's just nice to get back, see the community and I can't wait to see the new rink and enjoy the home opener at 7:30 that night."

In the 2002-03 season, Dixon played 25 games for the Kings, recording 11 points and 62 penalty minutes.

"It was a lot of fun," said Dixon. "You grow up in Canada and you always want to be a hockey player. I was able to live that dream. Dauphin was a lot of fun, we spent a lot of hours on the bus traveling around Manitoba, but I always look back at that stage in my life and remember how great it was."

Dixon will hit the rink at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
