The Dauphin Clippers began their title defense on Friday afternoon in their home opener, and it started off on the right note, as they beat the Swan Valley Tigers, 63-0.
It took the Clippers just under six minutes to get on the scoreboard, as they led 7-0 early, and the rout continued throughout the game.
Five minutes later, the Clippers looked destined to punt the ball, but out of nowhere, they took it 95 yards the other way for a touchdown, as they increased their lead to 14-0 and after the first quarter, it was 28-0.
From there, the Tigers stopped the Clippers on the odd chance, but overall, they couldn't do anything against a much better Clippers team, as the defending Champions moved to 1-0 on the season.
The Clippers will head to Souris next week, as they battle with Southwest.
