In the WHL

The Regina Pats evened their series with the Lethbridge Hurricanes, winning 3-2 in over time. Pats and Hurricanes are back in action on Tuesday.

and the Kelowna Rockets picked up a valuable win on the road against the Seattle Thunderbirds, defeating them 4-3 to even their series at 1 game apiece. Game 3 is Tuesday back in BC.

In the National Hockey League

One Canadians playoff run came to an abrupt end while another is of to the next round.

The Montreal Canadiens were defeated by the New York Rangers 3-1 in game 6 last night. The Rangers take the series 4-2.

And the young Edmonton Oilers are on to the next round, as they defeated San Jose 3-1, and took the series 4 games to 2.

In the National Basketball Association

The Toronto Raptors have tied their series with the Milwaukee Bucks and are heading back to Canada after an 87-76 win in game 4. The series is tied 2-2.

And in Major League Baseball

The Toronto Blue Jays once again lost a close ball game, losing 5-4 to the Los Angeles Angels. The Jays will be back on the diamond today.
