The Dauphin Kings dropped game two of their six game home stand to the Winkler Flyers 4-2 on Teddy Bear Toss night.

Despite being outshot 17-5 in the first period it ended scoreless.

Fans got the chance to throw their stuffed toys on to the ice at Credit Union Place courtesy of a Matt 'Teddy Bear' Greening goal at the 8:36 mark of the second period.

Winkler evened the scoring when Braden Billaney charged down the ice to beat an icing call, his pass to Mitch Dyck set up recent Flyers acquisition for the equalizer.

The Kings regained the lead 26 seconds later on a controversial goal. Two Flyers and Kings players collided behind the Winkler net. The Flyer's player caught on the back of the net and lifted it, when it came down the net was off its moorings. Winkler abandoned the play, which allowed Ashton Clark time to steal the puck and shoot it between Flyers goaltender Cole Weaver and into the net. Despite the Flyers protests the goal stood.

The Flyers stormed out of the gates in the third period, scoring three goals and outshooting the Kings 14-1 to take the win.

Brandon Holtby stopped 37 of 41 shots in the loss.

The Kings now shift their focus to Saturday's game against the Winnipeg Blues.
