The Grand Plains Celebrity Golf Classic is July 16th at the Gilbert Plains Country Club.
Cost is $400 for a foursome.
Several celebrity golfers will be announced over the coming weeks.
Golfers will have the opportunity to bid on celebrity golfers to join their group of four the morning of the tournament.
Half of the proceeds raised go towards Grand Plains Minor Hockey.

JENS MEILLEUR
Meilleur from Marquette, MB played four years for the Brandon Wheat Kings from 2010-2014. He wore an A in his last two years with the Wheaties. The dual citizen decided to take his talents over seas after junior hockey, plying his trade for the EC Kassel Huskies of the D-E-L 2 league in Germany.

RYAN PULOCK
Ryan Pulock began his hockey career with Grand Plains Minor Hockey at a young age. A former Wheat King, Pulock was drafted 15th overall to the New York Islanders in the 2013 NHL Draft.
Pulock was called up to the big club toward the end of the 2015-16 season dressing for 15 games. The Isles kept Pulock around for their playoff run where he became a key piece of their defensive corps, notching 3 points in 6 games.
LEAH HEXTALL
Niece of Dennis Hextall, and cousin of goaltender Ron Hextall, Leah is a professional Sportscaster who started her career in Brandon. Currently she works for Rogers.
Prior to joining Rogers she worked for American regional sports network giant NESN and was a big part of the Red Sox World Series win.
JEFF STOUGHTON
The retired Winnipeg-born curler is a three-time Brier champ, and two-time world champion as skip. Stoughton is known for his 360° "spin-o-rama" delivery, where he comes out of the hack, spins around and then throws the rock. Stoughton does this to entertain fans, but does not usually do it during games, except for meaningless shots. He performed the move in a cameo appearance in the 2002 Canadian rom-com film Men With Brooms.

The newest celebrity announcement for the Grand Plains Celebrity Golf Classic is Josh Crabb. Crabb is a sports anchor and reporter for CTV Winnipeg. He was born and raised in Roblin and is a graduate of Assiniboine Community College's Media Production program.
BLAINE STOUGHTON
Stoughton was drafted 7th overall by the Penguins in the 1973 NHL Amateur Draft. He played his major junior career with the Flin Flon Bombers, scored at least 50 goals in a season in the NHL twice, and scored at least 40 goals four times. Blaine is the former head coach of the University of Cincinnati club hockey team as well.
KOBY MORRISSEAU
Morrisseau is from Grandview, and was drafted 9th overall in the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft by the Spokane Chiefs. Morrisseau played for the Parkland Midget Rangers last year and put up 15 points in 17 appearances. Morrisseau will be attending the national under-17 development camp in Calgary later this month.

In 30 games with the Warriors Brook notched 10 points. Prior to joining Moose Jaw full-time Brook played for Notre Dame of the Saskatchewan Midget Hockey League.
