Four Parkland area players and staff will be taking the next step with Hockey Manitoba's Program of Excellence.
Hockey Manitoba announced their U-16 and U-18 Program of Excellence Development Rosters today.
Mark Liwiski of Dauphin has been named to the U-16 roster. A prep cam will take place in Riding Mountain National Park from July 11-13, followed by a final camp held in Winnipeg in August.
Abby Krzyzaniak of Neepawa, and Karissa Cullum of Russell have been named to the U-18 Team. Their prep camp takes place in Winnipeg in July, and they'll play the Bison's Exhibtion Series, also in Winnipeg, in September.
Devin Himpe of Dauphin will serve as a video coordinator for the U-16 Team, and as a support staff for the U-18 team.
The U-16 Team will compete at the Western Canada U-16 Challenge Cup in Calgary in October.
The U-18 Team will compete at the National U-18 Women's Championships in Regina in November.
