As the Dauphin Kings continue to prepare for the new season which begins on Friday night in Virden, they have added some firepower.

In a trade with the Portage Terriers, Dauphin acquired Nathan Lenoski. Nathan, of Winnipeg, had nine goals and 25 points in 43 regular season games with Portage last year. He posted 41 points in 47 games with the Winnipeg Freeze during the 2022-23 season.

Lenoski was on the ice with his new team on Tuesday and is slated to make his debut when Dauphin opens the campaign on Friday in Virden.

Dauphin sent future considerations and a player development fee to Portage to complete the trade.
