They already won a provincial title and now, the Dauphin U13 A Kings are league champions.
Playing Brandon in a best of three championship series and coming down to the wire, the Kings beat Brandon on Friday, 5-3, to win the league this year. It was a response win after Brandon won game two following Dauphin's dramatic 6-5 overtime victory in the first game of the season.
In the team's second round, Dauphin beat Grand Plains in three games and they also beat Russell in three games in the first round.
