The Parkland U18 Rangers hopes of making the playoffs were minimized significantly on Thursday evening.
Playing in Yellowhead, Parkland failed to get anything going offensively all night long as they were blanked in a 5-0 defeat. Chase Glover made 36 saves in the defeat. The Rangers had just three shots in the second period and 22 overall while they went 0-for-2 on the power play and just 5-for-7 on the penalty kill.
Sitting nine points back of a playoff spot with seven games left, the Rangers will have to likely win six or seven of those games in order to even have a chance at qualifying for the playoffs.
