It looks like the Canadian Football League season will start on time.

According to reports, the CFL and CFL Players' Association came to an agreement on a seven-year collective bargaining agreement Wednesday night.

It must be ratified still by both the board of governors as well as the CFLPA membership; however, it appears that teams will report to their teams Thursday.

The first preseason game between Winnipeg and Saskatchewan will take place May 31. Prior to that, Winnipeg opens their preseason on May 27 against Edmonton.
