Following a successful weekend by the Parkland Rangers one of their players has been noticed by the Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League.
Goaltender Jonathan Faktor has been named the league's player of the week.
Faktor went 2-0 for the Rangers in 2 key contests over the weekend, beating the Southwest Cougars and Pembina Valley Hawks. He put up a .956 Save Percentage and 1.50 Goals Against Average in the process.
Parkland has won three of their last four and see their final two games before the Christmas break this weekend when they head North to take on the Norman Northstars for two straight contests.
Dauphin Kings prospect Brad Goethals was a runner up for the player of the week honour, he had four goals and an assist in two games played for the Eastman Selects. He also had a goal and an assist with the Kings earlier in the week.
