It was deja vu for the Dauphin Kings Wednesday night in Portage as a bad five minutes in the third period cost the team a couple points in a 4-1 loss to the Terriers.
Dauphin entered the final frame with a 1-0 lead and were playing excellent. Much like early in November where they also had a shot at a couple points. However a quick turn over in the early stages of the third turned the contest around in Portage’s favour. The Terriers went on to score three quick goals before the seven minute mark.
Chance Thomas (10) had Dauphin’s lone goal early in the first period.
