The City of Dauphin has hired a new By-Law Enforcement Officer.

Colin Lesiuk, started working for the City of Dauphin on April 3.

He’s currently working on derelict properties and overall cleanliness of the city.

“For the most part, right now, I’m tackling cleanliness issues. For commercial and residential spaces, as soon as the snow is gone there’s a lot of garbage around.  Businesses are starting to start their summer projects, so I’m working on business licences.  Pretty soon we’re starting on our Property Task Force Committee and we work together too with residents and business owners to help clean up their properties finish their renovations and stuff like that’s been outstanding for three or four years, maybe longer.”

If you have any questions about a by-law or any concerns in regards to a violation, you can contact him at 622-3225.
