The provincial government has launched a new Crown Corporation, as part of The Efficiency Manitoba Act, in an announcement today.
Efficiency Manitoba will handle the demand-side management of electricity, natural gas programs, and services.
It will help Manitobans save on their energy bill and reduce greenhouse-gas emissions.
Manitoba Hydro will deliver energy-efficient initiatives during the transition period.
