Winnipeg police Chief Danny Smyth says he's made it clear to his officers that impaired driving is unacceptable and that anyone caught doing so will be held accountable.

His comments follow word that two more officers have been arrested on drunk-driving charges while off duty.

The pair were arrested in separate incidents earlier this month and are on administrative leave.

Another officer, Constable Justin Holz, faces charges including impaired driving and dangerous driving causing death following a fatal hit-and-run last month.
