Earlier this afternoon an accident occurred around 1st Ave NE right by No Frills after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.
Dauphin RCMP Constable Rob Tuff has details about what happened.
"Shortly after 12 we received a report of a vehicle and pedestrian collision that occurred on 1st Ave NE. Our investigation has shown that a 68 year old man who was driving a Dodge pickup truck traveling west bound on 1st Ave NE and as he was approaching Main Street a 12 year old youth ran into his path. The youth was taken to hospital and I’m told is in stable condition.”
The investigation is ongoing with no word on any charges at this time.
