Just after midnight, the Emerson RCMP was dispatched to a vehicle and pedestrian collision on Highway 201, just west of Roseau River First Nation.
A 43-year-old male from Saskatchewan was dressed in dark clothing and walking westbound on Highway 201 when he was struck by a westbound vehicle. He was pronounced deceased on scene.
Early investigation shows the driver of the vehicle was not impaired and speed was not a factor. No charges have been laid.
The investigation continues.
