Speeding was by far the most common offense on Manitoba roads during Road Safety Week.
About 1,100 total charges were laid between May 12 and 18; 668 of those were for speeding.
More than 7,800 vehicles were checked by Manitoba RCMP through the week.
There was one fatality.
