Manitoba Agriculture has appointed a new member and re-appointed two existing members on the board of the Manitoba Agricultural Services Corporation.
Betty Green has been appointed to a term of office, while Suszanne Jones and board chair James Wilson have been re-appointed as members of the Manitoba Agricultural Services Corporation board.
Green has over three decades of involvement in leadership roles in the areas of education, agriculture and rural development. She is the provincial co-ordinator of the Verified Beef Production program in Manitoba and a partner in the G7 Ranch with her husband and son.
The board of directors for Manitoba Agricultural Services Corporation is responsible to support and encourage the sustainability, development and diversification of agriculture and the rural economy of Manitoba by providing programs and services as set out in the Manitoba Agricultural Services Act.
