Residents of Lorray Manor woke up to find their blue recycle bins damaged with their contents scattered all over the lawn.
RCMP Detachment Commander for Dauphin and Parkland area, Nolan Suss, explains what went on last night and what residents should do if they find vandalism on their own property.
“Late last night we had somebody steal a truck and go drive through a bunch of garbage bins. We had the same instance happened last year; well it wasn’t with a stolen truck. This time they did dive through and damage quite a few. So if you do have some damaged property report it to us, we need to know what’s going on they are still going to need to deal with the city with getting their bin replaced. But if you have damage let us know. We may not be able to solve it right then and there but at least knowing where the trouble areas are in times, will help us direct our resources to where they need to be.
Crews were cleaning up the mess this morning.
