Ukrainian Ambassador Andriy Shevchenko is attending Canada's National Ukrainian Festival this year.
CNUF President Kayla Gillis talks about how they were able to get the Ukrainian Ambassador to come to the event.
"We sent an invitation and he graciously accepted, he has never been to the festival before so it is a great opportunity for us to have someone as an Ambassador from the Ukraine to come and enjoy our rich cultures that we're going to be showcasing next weekend."
It will be Shevchenko's first time attending CNUF which takes place from August 4th to 6th.
