In the last 5 days, the Dauphin Kinsmen Aquatic Centre Pool has experienced 4 pool foulings.
When a pool fouling occurs, the pool has to shut down to do proper water tests and super chlorinate. The cost of closing the facility down when this happens can be extremely costly and interrupts programming. Management is asking all patrons to ensure children use the washroom before swimming and children who are not toilet-trained are wearing water diapers. There has never been consecutive foulings like this in the pool's 20 years of service.
