A fatal vehicle collision occurred yesterday near Brunkild.
Around 5:30 yesterday, Headingley RCMP responded to a two vehicle collision on Highway 3 just south of Brunkild. The initial investigation has determined that a vehicle struck the shoulder and overcorrected while traveling south. It went into oncoming traffic. The driver of the other vehicle, a 43 year old man from Winkler, was transported to hospital. His 45 year old passenger, from Winnipeg, was pronounced deceased on scene. The 17 year old female driver of the southbound vehicle and its 3 other occupants were transported to hospital in serious condition. All 4 were from Morden.
The investigation is ongoing.
