The province of Ontario is looking into implementing a minimum income similar to a policy that was in effect in Dauphin during the 1970s.
Yesterday the Ontario Liberals announced the communities of Hamilton, Lindsay and Thunder Bay will be participating in a three-year pilot project to see if providing residents with a minimum income would improve social outcomes.
