Future Dauphin Grade 6 students will begin preparations to transition into Mackenzie Middle School in the fall.
An information meeting is scheduled for April 25th at 7:00 p.m. in the Mackenzie Middle School gymnasium.
According to Mountain View School Division Superintendent CEO Donna Davidson, the school division's philosophy towards middle years has been in the works for quite sometime.
"This project has long since been in the works since 2004 when we looked at restructuring our schools to meet a middle years philosophy [...] We were striving to create early years, middle years, and senior years communities within our communities -- each of our school communities -- and Dauphin was the last community to restructure to that philosophy."
All parents are welcome to attend the meeting.
