The Dauphin Friendship Center was the place to be last night as they hosted a open Coffee House to the public.

Doors opened at 6:30, and went late into the evening, wrapping up around 11 pm.

Upwards of 40 different musical performances were on display throughout the night.

Sharon Stoltz of the DFC shares the purpose of this coffee house.

"We organize the coffee house to give a venue to musicians in the area to come together and play and jam. And at the same time we figured it would be a good time to raise some money for the Dauphin Friendship Center 'Food for Thought' program."

Stoltz has informed CKDM that just over $1000 has been raised for the 'Food for Thought' program.
