Portage RCMP and the Emergency Response Team have seized drugs and a gun.
On January 20th at approximately 10 pm, Portage la Prairie RCMP Detachment executed a Controlled Drug and Substances Act warrant at a motel on 20th Street SW in Portage.
RCMP say, Police seized crack cocaine, amphetamine, prescription pills, cash and a handgun that was reported stolen in 2013.
Two individuals were arrested, with no injuries.
30-year-old Lisa Hallson and 31-year-old Code Ouellette both from Winnipeg, have been remanded into custody.
Charges include Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x3, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, and Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Firearm.
