The McCreary Legion's first attempt at a Chase the Ace fundraiser has turned out to be a good one.
Volunteer Doris Fletcher says they've got nine cards left.
"Half goes to the winner, of course, and the other half is split -- 40 per cent -- to the recreation facilities in McCreary."
Fletcher says it's been a full house for the last month.
Fletcher says the jackpot is currently at $48,596 plus whatever is added tonight. Registration begins at 5pm.
