A fire has completely destroyed a local business in Gladstone.
On Sunday at roughly 3:30 pm, a fire a broke out at Hunt's Mechanical quickly engulfing the entire building.
Mayor for the Municipality of WestLake Gladstone, David Single says it seemed like the fire wouldn't stop and has no idea how it started.
"I have no idea what started the fire, I got phoned in the afternoon and was told about the fire... I did go to Gladstone, when I got there the Plumas and Gladstone Fire Departments were hosing it down, there was no way it was going to stop."
Hunt's Mechanical is the only mechanic shop in the municipality.
