Dauphin RCMP investigate reports of shots being fired.
On September 8th at approximately 11:30 pm, Dauphin RCMP received reports of shots fired on 2nd Avenue NE.
RCMP say, investigation revealed that a 29-year-old male from Dauphin had received a gunshot wound to the upper body.
The male was transported to local hospital, where he was treated and released.
Police continue to investigate and based on the investigation so far, do not believe there is a risk to the public.
