Another drowning in Manitoba.

Police say a 26-year-old man has died after disappearing under water at Caddy Lake.

RCMP say the man from Winnipeg went for a swim some time before 3:30 Saturday morning, but began to struggle, and did not resurface after going under.

When officers arrived, emergency personnel were already performing CPR on the man.

He was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Police say alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor.

Also on Saturday, 22-year-old Jean Baptiste Ajua drowned at Birds Hill Provincial Park.
