This weekend, residents of Grandview will be celebrating a milestone.
Beginning tomorrow morning at ten, the Grandview Legion will be celebrating their 90th anniversary with a parade scheduled for 3 pm.
President of the Grandview Legion Branch 14, Barry Bailey says the group are always trying to find ways to help the community. He added, "We have our annual fundraising but most of all we hand out bursaries, we've supported families... we give back as much as we can give back."
The day will end off with a live performance from singer / songwriter Lorne Thompson, including a tribute to Merle Haggard. The show is free, however donations are graciously accepted to help cover costs.
