Grain shipment stoppage at the Port Of Churchill has left grain producers and many people in shock.
A Director for the Hudson Bay Route Association, Ernie Bayduza (who is also from Dauphin) says he doesn't even know what is going on.
"It's very surprising." says Bayduza. "We understood that about a month ago there was going to be not much but a little bit of grain moving through there. Kind of surprising to everybody." Bayduza adds.
The HBRA promotes and tries to maintain the rail line from The Pas to Churchill, and keep the grain terminal at the port running.
