The former general manager of Dauphin Rec Services is taking on a new role with the organization.
Terry Payne has been appointed by the city as a citizen board member.
Payne says he's looking forward to staying involved.
"It was probably one of the best jobs I've ever had in terms of just the people and the things that you got to do and be responsible for."
Mayor Eric Irwin says you wouldn't be able to find someone with more experience to sit on the board.
