Dauphin's MLA calls yesterday's budget a responsible one.
Brad Michaleski doesn't believe a drop of about $1-million in agriculture funding is particularly significant, and says the government is dealing with a pretty significant debt.
"Really the budget was pretty, pretty tame in spite of [the debt]," said Michaleski.
Agriculture is one of two government departments in which funding is being cut.
