A pair of local municipalities have introduced road restrictions after the recent run of spring-like weather led to the softening of gravel roads within their boundaries.
The RM of Dauphin says road restrictions will be in place until further notice, adding that anyone who causes excessive damage to gravel roads within their boundaries can be held responsible for costs associated with reconstructing or repairing the road.
Meanwhile, the Municipality of Grandview is also asking residents to hold off from hauling heavy loads for the time being on their roads, which they say have become exceptionally soft after the recent warm weather.
