Gasbuddy.com says the average price for a litre of regular gasoline in Manitoba is down significantly in the past seven days, fueled by last Monday's removal of the provincial fuel tax.

According to their weekly survey of gas stations across the province, GasBuddy.com says the average price is now 114.53 cents a litre, down 11.3 cents from last week's numbers, which were compiled prior to the removal of the fuel tax.

That also represents a 32.5 cent decrease from exactly one year ago and is 25.2 cents a litre cheaper than one month ago.

In Dauphin, the average price continues to hover between the 115.6 and 115.9 cents a litre mark.

As for other Parkland communities, Swan River ranges from 114.9 to 115.9 cents, Roblin is around 113.9, and Russell and Grandview are both around 115.9,
