Mossey River Municipality has provided an update on the geothermal plant replacement repairs slated for the Winnipegosis arena.
In a Facebook post, they say two new heating units have been delivered to the arena, and contractors have started the process of dismantling the current system.
So far, that has consisted of removing the old wiring and starting to remove the piping in the arena.
They say the contractor is working as quickly as possible to complete the repairs, but caution that this is a huge undertaking, adding that they are also still waiting for additional parts to arrive.
