The Manitoba RCMP has arrested and charged 46-year-old Melvin Catcheway with Manslaughter, in relation to an ongoing homicide investigation on Skownan First Nation. Catcheway was remanded into custody and appeared in Swan River Court Today.
On Saturday, the Winnipegosis RCMP responded to a report of an assault at a residence on Skownan First Nation. When police arrived on the scene they found the body of a 68-year-old victim deceased.
RCMP Major Crime Services continue to investigate.
